Got taxi from Hanoi airport and got the Vietnamese version of Wherther's guy but with mints (please see above). I don't care where you go are in the world taxi drivers who give out candy are freaky. Forgot the insanity of Asian traffic. Scooters packed with families and unimaginable loads, no discernible lanes or road rules per se apart from the constant horn tooting which replaces everything from indicating to stopping to changing lanes. Saw one guy stop his truck on the motor way, get out and urinate off the bridge. Noone really seemed to mind just tooted and drove around.
